Trade enquiries
If you send a Trade & Bulk Orders enquiry, we store your business and contact details and the products requested in our secure database so we can prepare a quotation, and we send a copy to our business email. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract and our legitimate interest in responding. We keep enquiries for up to 24 months unless an order follows. [RETENTION PERIOD TO BE CONFIRMED]

What we collect
- Contact and delivery details you give us (name, email, phone, address).
- Vehicle details you choose to provide for fitment checks.
- Order history and correspondence.
- Technical data needed to run the website (essential browser storage for your cart, chosen product options and cookie choices). This stays on your device.
- Staff accounts: email address and sign in details of A&K Performance staff who manage the store.
- Optional customer accounts: your email address, password (stored encrypted, we cannot see it), name, phone number, saved delivery addresses and your marketing choice. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google. You can check out as a guest without an account.
We do not store payment card details on this website. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other payment methods are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (Dublin, Ireland) on a secure payment page; Stripe receives your name, email, payment details and order amount to take the payment and prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy. We keep your order details (name, contact details, delivery address, vehicle details and items) to fulfil the order, handle returns and meet tax and accounting rules.
If you choose to message us on WhatsApp (for example from our Special Requests page), your message goes through WhatsApp, run by Meta, under its own privacy policy, and may be transferred outside the EU. Our website does not store these messages. We use what you send only to answer your request.
Why we use it and lawful basis

Who receives your data

- Product images: photos for our Carbon Performance Collection are copied to and served from our own hosting, so viewing them shares nothing with the supplier. In addition, some product photos are currently loaded from our supplier's image servers (Alibaba Cloud CDN). When you view them, your browser sends your IP address and basic device information to that provider, which may be outside the EEA. International transfers
